Dear Media Pass Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in covering Days of Discovery. To ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for all attendees and participants, we have established the following guidelines for media personnel granted access to the event:

  1. Accreditation and Identification:
    • Media personnel must display their provided media pass at all times while on the festival grounds.
    • Please carry a government-issued photo ID along with the media pass for verification.
  2. Coverage Scope:
    • Media pass holders are authorized to cover the festival strictly for the purpose stated in their application.
    • Any deviation from the approved coverage scope requires prior written consent from the festival organizers.
  3. Interviews and Artist Interactions:
    • All interview requests with artists, performers, or festival organizers must be submitted in advance and approved by the festival’s media liaison.
    • Please be respectful of artists’ time and follow any specific guidelines provided during the interview process.
  4. Photography and Videography:
    • Photography and videography are generally permitted, but please be mindful of the festival’s restricted areas and any specific artist requests.
    • Drones or any other aerial devices are strictly prohibited unless explicit written permission is granted by the festival organizers.
  5. Content Usage and Sharing:
    • Media personnel are allowed to use the captured content for editorial purposes related to the festival only.
    • Any commercial or promotional use of the content requires written consent from the festival organizers and the artists involved.
  6. Sharing on Social Media:
    • We encourage media pass holders to share festival highlights on social media platforms, giving proper credit to the event and artists.
    • Use official event hashtags and handles when posting about the festival.
  7. Safety and Etiquette:
    • Media personnel must adhere to all festival rules, regulations, and safety guidelines.
    • Please be respectful to fellow attendees, artists, and staff at all times.
  8. Media Check-In:
    • Media pass holders must check in at the designated media check-in location to receive their credentials before the festival starts.
  9. Cancellation and Revocation:
    • The festival organizers reserve the right to cancel or revoke media passes at their discretion, especially in cases of non-compliance with the guidelines.
